Over the past two years, the Branded content project has immersed itself with content marketing teams from 35 local media companies. Ranging large broadcasts and print publishers, to single market operators, to international media companies to digital pure plays and nonprofit players, we studied and examined these teams, the best of the best of branded content studios and departments, to discover what is working and what's not.

After two years of solving common challenges together and learning new ways to grow branded content revenue, one massive hurdle remained for nearly every team:

  5. Keep an eye out for a follow-up email with a link to a #brandedbadge graphic for email signatures and social channels and watch the mail for an Official Branded Badge.

The Branded Badge Certificate Program is the latest resource for local media outlets and complements additional training and educational opportunities that are available.
