In this week's Branded Buzz, we hear from Brian Monihan, Vice President of Pamplin Media Group, who talks about the success of the newspaper group's special annual section, Amazing Kids.
The program highlights youth in the area who are doing outstanding things for their communities. All 25 kids are featured in an online and print article, which allows for 25 local sponsorship opportunities.
Monihan says businesses continue to come back to sponsor because they love being associated with the wonderful community stories featuring these special kids.
"We've now implemented not just Amazing Kids but also other products we do related to veterans, teachers, community heroes, sports, you name it. There's always a business who wants to be there to say 'yeah I'm helping spread the news about these great kids by sponsoring these stories'."
