New training videos break down how to sell our lifestyle series

You're interested in selling branded content, you've taken the Branded Badge Certificate Program, but now how do you actually start selling our lifestyle series? We have created four training videos to help you get a better understanding of how our program works and set you on the path to branded content selling success!

The first video in this training series offers an introduction to all ten of our lifestyle series that are designed for publisher partners and retailed to local advertisers for exclusive sponsorship in your market. From Home Sweet Home to Finances FYI, we have content that was created to engage your local audiences and heighten brand awareness for local advertisers. Our incredible partner, Distributed Media Lab, helps us with content fulfillment and technology. Access the online marketplace here.

No two local media outlets are alike and we want our sales products to work best for your organization, which is why there are two ways to publish our content series. This video explains the options we provide: managed service or self-publishing and will help you determine which is best for you.

Now that you know how you'll publish our series, you must determine how you'll package it for sponsorship. This video explains two types of pricing structures for our series: share-of-voice or impression-based. The size of your organization and how much digital traffic you get will help you decide which path to choose.

The final video in this training series gives sellers important points to make to potential clients when going after an exclusive sponsorship. It also encourages sellers to take advantage of the sales collateral we provide including: prospecting email templates, sales presentation decks, and series marketing kits.

Once you've sold a series, let us know so we can celebrate your success! We will help you make sure your client's campaign runs smoothly and guide you throughout the process. Remember, we can also create custom series, incorporate video and have access to a cause marketing platform. Email or with questions.

The Meta Branded Content Project is designed through a strategic partnership between the Meta Journalism Project, Local Media Association and the Local Media Consortium to help facilitate additional growth, engagement, and revenue success for more publishers of all shapes and sizes.
