Join our next sales bootcamp for branded content growth

Updated: Jul 25, 2022

We're looking for local media professionals interested in gaining valuable insight on successfully selling branded content to join our upcoming sales bootcamp beginning the week of August 29!

This free, four-week bootcamp will consist of one group call a week, in addition to one-on-one sales support and consulting, access to turnkey sales products, the Branded Badge Certificate Program, and a great opportunity to network and brainstorm with other local media organizations on what is currently working, how to overcome common challenges and more. Sign up!

Each week we'll talk about sales strategies and focus on one industry for prospecting new clients. We'll also highlight four of our ten lifestyle content series and give specific ideas on who could be approached to sponsor the following: Travel Time, Home Sweet Home, Go Green and Parenting Today.

Jennifer Staub, director of digital sales training for Nexstar, participated in our last cannabis-focused bootcamp.

"This has been a great introduction for me. I look forward to more of these bootcamps and really seeing what we can do with this content here," she said.

We also received a positive review from Lisa Rogers of Vizella Media, who had several colleagues participate in the last bootcamp.

"We've learned a lot through this training and what we're able to do and not able to do at the local level. I think that this content is incredibly useful and I think there's a tremendous amount of opportunity to use it," she said.

The Meta Branded Content Project is able to provide sales bootcamps thanks to support from Local Media Consortium, Local Media Association and Meta Journalism Project.

Interested in participating? Sign up here! We will be in touch with you as we approach the end of August.

The Branded Content Project is designed through a strategic partnership between the Local Media Association, the Local Media Consortium, and the Facebook Journalism Project to help facilitate additional growth, engagement, and revenue success for more publishers of all shapes and sizes.
