Free training opportunities to take your reps to the next level

Updated: Feb 1, 2022

Here at the Meta Branded Content Project, we're all about giving local media outlets the resources they need to feel confident securing new branded content campaigns. From the very first step of coming up with a strategy, to helping your team run campaigns, we are with you all the way. Let's dive into all of the training offerings we have.

The Branded Badge Certificate Program is a 2-track video training curriculum designed to educate users on successfully creating, selling and implementing a branded content strategy.

Success For Sellers is our full sales offering intended for account executives who are or will be actively selling branded content in their market. Discover the history of branded content, the benefits of selling it, best practices and the ideal clients to target among topics.

Branded Content 101 is our shortened track (the same as Success For Sellers, but fewer videos) and will give users an understanding of branded content basics and how to collaborate between departments within your media organization. News and creative services professionals should seek this track to understand how to seamlessly fit branded content into the editorial side of the business.

We've also created branded content explainer videos that we recommend sharing with local advertisers being prospected for content marketing. It's a great way to get in the door with a client or improve your established relationship, while showing them what they need to be doing.

You can download the videos here. We also have a second version of each video that is free of our logo and can be branded by your publication or content studio.

Another way we like to stay engaged with our members and partners is through the Big Branded Calls that we host monthly virtually via Zoom. Each month's topic is revenue-driven and scalable for local media outlets. We bring on experts in the field to breakdown strategies they are finding success with, so that others can learn from colleagues and share in that success!

Our Big Branded Calls are on the third Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. ET. You can get on our list by filling out this form, and we'll send you a calendar invite. Have an awesome branded content program or recent campaign that could influence others in the industry? We'd love to hear about it and share it with the crowd.

We have multiple 5-week sales bootcamps planned this year to help local media outlets create new revenue streams with successful branded content campaigns. Our bootcamps are quick and to the point, with streamlined training, sales product offerings and consulting for anyone on your team.

We work with your sales reps and advertising managers on weekly calls, coaching them on packaging, pricing and prospecting. By providing access to turnkey sales products, sales collateral and marketing materials, we'll help you develop long-lasting branded content initiatives. Best part? They're free! Our next bootcamp begins in late February and will focus on selling to cannabis advertisers. Sign up here!

The Branded Buzz is our weekly newsletter that brings great sales tips, case studies, white papers, quick videos and blog posts directly into your inbox every Thursday. This is also the space where we give shout-outs to rockstars in the industry and celebrate sales successes! Sign up here.

Finally, don't forget to follow us on social media! We are active on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

No matter how you get involved, we're here to help guide you to branded content strategy success. Reach out and we'll get to work right away! Reach us at: julia@brandedcontentproject.com or liz@brandedcontentproject.com.
