Empowering local, diverse media: A case study of phase one of The Exchange

The Exchange, a project led by Deloitte and a consortium of Black-owned local publishers, has released a case study highlighting learnings from Phase One of the project.

The Exchange is a pilot project managed by the Local Media Association, the Local Media Consortium and the Branded Content Project that aims to advance equity in media by sustaining local publications serving racially and ethnically diverse communities that have been underserved by mainstream media.

The Meta Branded Content Project is designed through a strategic partnership between the Meta Journalism Project, Local Media Association and the Local Media Consortium to help facilitate additional growth, engagement, and revenue success for more publishers of all shapes and sizes.
