Start thinking fall to secure new sponsors in September

Updated: Aug 5, 2021

Who doesn’t love September? The dog days of summer are winding down, the evenings are cooling off, the leaves are starting to change, it’s a great time of year for weekend getaways, and of course, retailers are lining their shelves with autumn scents and fall produce.

All those September favorites afford you the perfect opportunity to connect with local brands and advertisers to showcase the products and events they’re offering ahead of autumn. You can do this through our Custom Content 1 2 3 initiative, something you asked for — and we’re excited to be delivering!

Yes, you read that correctly. We are able to customize collection content! We can partner with brands to create entire series, as well as one-time articles, through a process that includes a dedicated content strategy call to determine the article theme and tone, an interview with a company expert to showcase their September offerings, and a custom article or series that includes two rounds of revisions per article.

So, say you have a dispensary that wants to customize the Cannabis Weekly series. No problem! For just $500, we’ll create an article where they can tell the world all about their unique product lines, monthly promotions, even introduce their staff. You can create a custom content request directly in The Branded Content Project Storefront.

And when you’re not busy showing brands the amazing custom offerings we have available, there’s plenty of additional content across our 10 collections to get them excited about, too!

September is generally considered the unofficial start to fall. With that in mind, we have several recipe roundups that leverage that tasty, healthy autumn produce, seasonal decorating ideas, eco-friendly eating tips, apple-themed crafts for kids, you name it! It’s content that’s perfect to bring to your local grocery and craft stores, home decor and furniture retailers, fitness centers, hospitals, and more.

As the weather starts to get cooler, savvy homeowners will be looking to prep their house for winter. Our guides to furnace maintenance and list of easy fall tasks are just what home improvement stores, HVAC providers, and utility companies are looking to sponsor.

Banks, credit unions, and financial service providers are always seeking ways to protect and empower their customers. That’s why our phishing scams roundup, travel loyalty programs breakdown, and credit score guides are excellent opportunities to bring them on as sponsors.

And who can forget the cannabis dispensaries and CBD brands? We highlight some of the most euphoric strains, show consumers where to take a cannabis-themed vacation, and provide a guide to cannabis stash boxes.

With the busy Q4 selling season on the horizon, now is the time to connect with brands about creating unique custom content as well as aligning with the exciting articles already in the pipeline for September.

We’re excited to see what you do with it!
